Choose Your Best Fit

Choosing the right jewelry size is easier than it may seem. Use a piece that already fits comfortably as your starting point, then compare it with the measurements shown on each product page.

───

Start Here

Step1: Check Your Current Jewelry

Measure a piece that already feels comfortable.

Step2: Compare the Measurement

Match its gauge, post length, or hoop inner diameter with the product page.

Step3: Choose Your Fit

Select a snug or roomier fit according to your preference and anatomy.

01

Gauge

Gauge refers to the thickness of the part that passes through your piercing. Choose the same gauge as the jewelry you currently wear comfortably.

Gauge

Thickness

Common Reference

20G

0.8 mm

Standard earlobe earrings and thinner posts

18G

1.0 mm

Earlobe and many cartilage styles

16G

1.2 mm

A common size for professional cartilage piercings

Do not force a thicker post into a smaller piercing. If you are unsure of your current gauge, ask a professional piercer before ordering.

02

Post Length

Post length is the wearable space between the front of the jewelry and the back. It does not include the front decoration or the thickness of the flat-back disc.

Post Length

5–6 mm

8 mm

10 mm

General Fit

A close, snug fit for thinner tissue and fully healed piercings

A comfortable everyday fit with a little more room

Extra room for thicker tissue or deeper piercing placement

♥ A post that is too short may feel tight.
♥ A post that is too long may move or catch more easily.
♥ For the most accurate result, measure a well-fitting piece you already own.

03

Hoop Inner Diameter

EaseTi hoop sizes are measured by inner diameter, from one inside edge of the hoop to the other.
Inner diameter determines how closely the hoop sits against the ear.

♥ Measure in a straight line from the center of the piercing hole to the ear edge in the direction the hoop will sit.
♥ For a snug fit, choose the closest available inner diameter to your measurement.
♥ For more room, choose the next larger available size.
♥ Do not choose a hoop smaller than the measured distance.

Example — if the measured distance is approximately 8 mm, an 8 mm hoop will usually sit more closely, while a 10 mm hoop will provide more room.

04

How to Measure Your Current Jewelry

Both are correct — it comes down to healing, tissue, and personal preference.

Flat-Back Stud

Measure only the straight wearable post between the front setting and the back disc. Do not include the front decoration or the thickness of the flat back.

Hoop

Measure straight across the inside of the hoop. Do not measure the outside diameter.

Gauge

Use the size provided by your piercer, the original product specifications, or a jewelry gauge card. A standard ruler may not accurately show very small differences.

05

Snug or Relaxed?

The easiest way to choose your size is to measure a piece that already fits comfortably.

— Snug Fit

Choose a closer fit for a clean, minimal look when the piercing is fully healed. The jewelry should feel secure without pinching or pressing deeply into the skin.

— Relaxed Fit

Choose more room if you have thicker tissue, prefer visible movement, or want a lower-hanging hoop. Avoid excessive space that causes frequent catching.
